Greetings,Welcome to the Coldbrook & District Lions Club. Please take a few moments and browse through our “Web Site”. Here, you’ll find what our club is all about. We have 36 very active members, both men and women, all treated equal, one of which is a founding member, as well as those who’ve been a member for 25+ years, ranging in age from mid 30’s to mid 80’s. We support our communities and other services on a large scale, contributing thousands of dollars each year. We are able to do this through you, the public, who support our many projects – such as our Drive-in, Breakfasts, Bingos, etc. Without your and the Lions Club support, there might a child who wouldn’t have eyeglasses, or a person who couldn’t travel elsewhere for a life saving medical treatment. It puts a smile on your face to see a person who is visually or hearing impaired, receive a guide dog that allows them to go out into and be a part of their community. These dogs cost thousands of dollars and we have purchased several. There’s nothing too small or too big – we want to help with all. We are always looking for new members who are community minded and have a few hours to spare. We invite you to come “check us out”. There are many benefits to being a Lion, besides the work, we enjoy the fellowship and the fun times with members and their families. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at our club located at 1416 South Bishop Rd., Coldbrook.
