Our Club Projects

Lions Clubs are community service organizations dedicated to improving local well-being and fostering unity. Each club runs a variety of projects that either raise funds for community needs or create opportunities for people to come together. These projects can range from youth programs and meal initiatives to events that support local charities. Every project is overseen by a committee of club members who work collaboratively to ensure its success, reflecting the Lions’ core mission of service, support, and community engagement.

Hants County Exhibition Demolition Derby

The Hants County Exhibition Demolition Derby is a high-energy motorsport event where drivers compete by deliberately crashing their cars into one another in a controlled arena until only one vehicle remains running. Held as part of the historic Hants County Exhibition in Windsor, Nova Scotia, it’s a crowd favorite that combines the thrill of loud engines, flying metal, and strategic driving with a festive fair atmosphere. Spectators enjoy the excitement of collisions and eliminations, while participants follow strict safety rules to keep the chaos fun and contained.
